Kite Foil National Racing Titles - Hydro Foil Pro Tour

Townsville Sailing Club is proud to once again bring the Australian National Formula Kite and Kite Foil Open to the wonderful waters of Cleveland Bay, Townsville.  We are excited to be hosting both the Australian Racing Nationals and, for their last stop of the season, the HydroFoil Pro Tour.

The top foil racers from Australia and the world will battle for the respective titles from the 25^th to 28^th of October, 2018.  They will be racing in light choppy waters with a sea breeze virtually every day.  The Strand, an ideal spot for spectators, will provide great racing – a natural amphitheatre.  In 2014 Damien LeRoy described the location as “I think it’s the most magical place”
