Qualified instructors, safety equipment, games & aquatic fun included!
9 am to 3 pm, for school-age children of adequate swimming ability. The day will cater to beginners who have never been in a boat before, right through to experienced sailors who wish to join the fun and practice their skills.
A great opportunity for your children to take part in an active day out on the water and discover the fun of water sports. The day will include games, sailing, paddleboards, and time on the powerboats.
Led by Australian Sailing qualified instructors. For those new to the sport, a short introductory lesson will be provided, including a safety brief. Life jackets and helmets are provided, our aim is for your children to have fun and make new friends while staying safe.
Children should come prepared to get wet! Wear stinger and sun protection including a hat and wet shoes.

This is the perfect 'taster' for anyone who wants to discover sailing for the first time. This is the perfect introduction and can be the ideal way for you to begin your sailing journey, without having to commit to a full training course.
Course Outcome
Following the course, you will receive a completion certificate.

We recognise that some of our course participants are completing the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and may be using sailing and/or club membership to complete one or more sections of The Award. To learn more, click here.
