Try Winging! Introductory Wing Experience
Have you ever wanted to try winging? This introductry course will give you a taste for one of the fastest growing forms of sailing in the world.
Learn the basics of how to manage and handle your wing
Wing and board safety on the land and water
Learn to sail with and across the wind and turn
We supply the boards, wings and safety equipment. You bring the energy and excitement!
What to bring:
Students should bring the following personal clothing and equipment
Hat, water bottle, and appropriate sun safety
Appropriate stinger protection, such as tights, long sleeves or stinger suits
Foot protection suitable for in the water
Towel and a change of clothes.
Please note:
As an introductory course, students will be rotated between wing equipment and rest time on the water over the duration of the course.

Places are strictly limited and subject to minimum and maximum numbers

This is the perfect 'taster' for anyone who wants to discover sailing for the first time. This is the perfect introduction and can be the ideal way for you to begin your sailing journey, without having to commit to a full training course.
Course Outcome
Following the course, you will receive a completion certificate.
We recognise that some of our course participants are completing the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and may be using sailing and/or club membership to complete one or more sections of The Award. To learn more, click here.
